Day Sixteen: Registering Your Domain Name

  • Choose a domain name registrar from those suggested.
  • Step 1. Enter your desired domain name in the registrar's search box.
  • Step 2. The registrar will confirm if the domain is available.
  • Step 3. Complete your payment information.
  • Step 4. Choose to have your domain "parked" with the registrar for the time being.

  • Look for a hosting company that offers several important features.

    • Ample storage space

    • Plenty of bandwidth

    • Ability to password protect directories

    • Superior uptime

    • An easy-to-use control panel

  • Choose a hosting package that includes a Cpanel.

    This will serve you well in your business's future growth

  • Connect your nameservers.

    This will allow your website space to become "live."
