Module Three:

How To Write P.A.G.E.S. Of High Demand Content For Your Simple Report

0/0

Day Five: Creating A Winning Title

  • Read through the entire Module text at least once (Pages ??-??).

Doing this will familiarize yourself with all the concepts we'll be working with in this Module.

  • Your title should accurately represent what's in your report.

In order to be effective, your title should communicate SPECIFICALLY what’s in the report. The more specific you can make it, the better (you’re finding your niche, the deeper you dig).

  • Make certain your title will "build interest."

Make it appealing, even enticing, for it to have the maximum drawing power with your target market.

  • Review your title to be sure it “communicates benefits.”
The title you ultimately choose should tell readers, succinctly, what benefits they can expect to receive by purchasing, reading and applying the knowledge in your report.

Day Five: Title Templates That Will Create Interest For Your Report

  • Choose from among the 20 templates we’ve provided to assure that your title attracts buyers.

These templates are based on winning formulas that have produced profits, year in and year out, for hundreds of online information marketers.

Day Five: Thinking On Paper: Getting Over Your Fear

  • Understand what writing is and is not.
That’s all writing is: putting the thoughts in your head down on paper (or onto your computer screen). It’s certainly not as hard as you might think it is. And with the P.A.G.E.S. System, the writing almost propels itself. All you have to do is transfer your ideas to paper.
  • Don’t think about writing exercises from school. It’s not that kind of writing.

Use the System we provide, and your simple report almost writes itself.

  • Develop a personal writing style.

This is not a scholarly text. Imagine you are conveying this information to a friend in conversation. Write like you talk.

Day Six: The Writing System That Takes The Pain Out Of Writing

  • Use the P.A.G.E.S. System.

The P.A.G.E.S. System makes writing your report simple and straightforward. Each letter in the word “PAGES” stands for one of the steps in the System.

  • 1. Plan out your report by brainstorming five possible ideas.
  • 2. Arrange your ideas sequentially or systematically in outline form.
  • 3. Grow your content by “filling in the blanks,” writing a few paragraphs to fill in spaces in your outline.
  • 4. Extract 10 bullet points (for your ad copy) while you write.
  • 5. Smooth out the rough spots to complete your report, by padding and polishing where necessary.

Day Six: What To Write

  • Refer to the text for a list of the things you should be thinking about and writing down.

It’s amazing how some small thought or idea can blossom into content that’s valuable for your readers!

  • If you’re stuck trying to come up with ideas, brainstorm by “alphabetizing” your subject.

Alphabetizing helps your brain stretch to think of new ideas and interesting connections that will make your report more valuable to readers.

  • Refer to the text again for 20 content templates that will help you shape your ideas.

Each template provides you with a way to present what you know, or what you’ve learned, in an interesting and engaging way.

  • Proofread your completed report.

While some errors may never get spotted, the more you can fix, the more authoritative your report seems. Ideally, you’d have someone else do this who’s looking at the material with fresh eyes.
